A PREMIER EYE CARE PRODUCTS COMPANY REQUIRES INTEGRATED REP FORCE AND CUSTOMER SAMPLE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

 

A leading international eye care solution provider was looking for a better way to manage and monitor its’ sampling activity – in relation to both its’ field rep force and its’ customer base.

 

SOLUTION¬†Positive’s Pharmilink Healthcare division developed a custom sample management system, combined with a web interface, that allowed samples to be allocated by reps, who were then able to manage their customers’ sample requirements. This web based interface offered the ability to view historical sampling activity and, by adding a process to import sales data by customer into the same system, reps were able to relate sampling activity to sales volume on a customer-by-customer basis. With information at their finger tips, reps could now effectively manage their territory sample allocations, placing customer orders on-line and, where necessary, set-up automatic shipments at pre-set frequencies based on individual customer needs. After the implementation of this system, the client has seen substantial sales increases year-over-year.
